In response to requests from Franklin residents, Lifelong Learning is proud to announce a new addition to its summer programs: Early Explorers. This class is designed for children 3 and 4 years of age who are not eligible for kindergarten in fall 2010.
Collaboratively designed with Karen Seyfried, Early Childhood Development Principal, the four, 1-week sessions:
July 6, 7, 8 & 9: Dino-mite! Fun Learning about Dinosaurs
July 12, 13, 14 & 15: Books, Bears and Beyond
July 19, 20, 21 & 22: You and Me ... Under the Sea
July 26, 27, 28 & 29: Let the Sunshine In!

While the students are enjoying spring break, the Lifelong Learning staff is working on the High School Experience (HSE)for the Franklin High School Class of 2014. The HSE will be held the week of August 9-13 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The members of the freshman class will have the opportunity to meet students from all 4 middle schools, as well as teachers, administrators, staff and some students from grades 10, 11 and 12.
