Summer is approaching

Tomorrow is June 1st and the final day of school is 3-weeks away ... June 22.

Less than a week later, serveral summer programs begin:
June 27: Math Academy
Solutions Summer Adventure
Summer Art Institute
Summer Music
UMass Amherst Tour

The following week, on July 5, more classes and opportunities begin:
STAR
StarPLUS
High School Academics
High School Online Digital Photography

The High School Experience is the week of August 15 and we hope to see 3/4 of the incoming 9th grade class.
The College Essay Writing course is scheduled for the week of August 22 and is full.

Summer Enrichment Classes 2011

Enrollment in Franklin's Summer Enrichment classes has crossed the 1,000 student mark! These strong numbers represent the wonderful classes offered by FPS faculty and staff, and the students who enroll in them.

A new class ... Writing Your Senior Essay ... has three remaining spaces. The class is a 3-day workshop that will be co-taught by Janet Pergola and Pamela McIntyre, Ph.D.

As of this morning, May 12, 24 enrichment classes are full and closed. However, several classes are still accepting students.

The first enrichment programs of the summer, which will be offered for two weeks beginning June 27, include: Math Academy for students in kindergarten through grade 5; Summer Art Institute for students entering grades 7 through 12; and, Summer Music for students entering grades 4 through 9 with oppportunities for mentorships for high school students.

Toddlers & Summer - Early Explorers

It's May!! Summer is around the corner.

Franklin Public Schools is working tirelessly to prepare for the Summer Camps for students of all ages ... toddlers to high school students.

Early Explorers is specifically designed for toddlers who are 3 or 4 years of age and will not be attending kindergarten in the fall. Early Explorers activities will include music, rhythm instruments and singing, listening to storytellers and dramatic play, age-appropriate art including painting, drawing, and crafts using multiple materials, move and dance, outdoor play, and more. Each week has a new theme with fun and exciting activities.
